This illustration was created for the Junior League of Sarasota’s 2025-2026 League Year, serving as the official theme logo for incoming President Corey Talbot. Commissioned by Corey, the design symbolizes how each individual brings their own thread to the fabric of change, creating something stronger, more beautiful, and impactful together.

To bring that message to life, I used a hand-drawn, cut-paper illustration style that evokes a warm, handcrafted aesthetic, mirroring the tactile act of knitting and the grassroots spirit of community action. The four faceless, diverse women depicted represent unity through shared purpose: different identities, working side by side to build something meaningful together.

The custom color palette blends the traditional Junior League red with Corey’s favorite hues, creating a visual bridge between institutional tradition and personal leadership.

This logo will be used throughout the 2025–26 League Year to brand email newsletters, internal presentations, printed materials, event signage, and more — serving as a visual anchor for a year rooted in collaboration, inclusivity, and intentional impact.
